Kforce has a client in search of a Regional Operations Manager in Waltham, Massachusetts (MA).
Summary: We are seeking to hire a Regional Operations Manager to cultivate and manage a central branch location while providing oversight to the day-to-day operations of other regional warehouses. The ideal candidate will mentor and advise other Branch Managers in their execution of processes, talent management and daily operations, while providing direct leadership to high-potential Inside Sales and Customer Care team members.
Core responsibilities will include:
? Oversee and/or effectively delegate all daily operations of regional branches ? Execute proper selling strategy to drive growth of small customers ? Champion data-driven, continuous improvement and personal accountability culture throughout region ? Provide accurate and timely performance reporting ? Collaborate with Branch Managers on the analysis of metrics-driven branch summaries and opportunities for improvement ? Develop and maintain an environment of professionalism and safe working practices, both within the branch and throughout the service area ? Oversee inventory, product availability and coordinate transfers of merchandise to and from other branch locations ? Ensure the proper execution of all operating processes as well as adherence to company policies and procedures in all regional branches ? Identify and analyze opportunities for improvement in regional branches, implementing change when necessary ? Assist senior leadership in the creation and execution of workflows geared at improving processes ? Facilitate the implementation of new policies and procedures in regional branches ? Ensure accurate management of data in CRM, SAP and other systems ? Monitor and analyze areas for talent development
? Bachelor's degree in related field ? Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully leading teams, with 5-8 years of distribution operations/logistics management experience ? 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced sales/customer service role ? Proven experience developing talent, particularly for management and outside sales roles ? Proven track record of delivering process-driven results ? Experience with data-driven analytics, metrics and KPIs to measure and drive results ? Experience in driving productivity improvements in distribution operations ? Effective leadership and coaching skills ? Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships ? Exceptional time management skills ? Ability to embrace process-driven environment and lead others in working to a process ? Ability to work quickly and decisively ? Ability to work as part of a team to achieve desired results ? Strong quantitative and analytical skills ? Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles ? Strong customer service skills ? Visionary and critical thinker ? Highly motivated & energetic ? Collaborative and team oriented ? Able to adapt and excel in a high-pressure environment undergoing considerable change
Additional preferred qualifications include the following:
? A broad understanding of the building products business, with more specific knowledge of the local market as it relates to product types, customer trends, and competitors ? CRM experience ? Strong working knowledge of SAP enterprise software and CenterPoint or related software ? Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
