This is an outstanding growth opportunity for an up and coming Project Manager. You are: Capable of anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. You will: Work on projects and be the point of contact to facilitate multiple initiatives primarily surrounding Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) across the MSK Department of Surgery. Collaborate with Department leadership to address and manage various aspects of our PRO programs, including the facilitation of research. This opportunity requires independent initiation of analyses, data gathering and manipulation, collaborating with other Divisions of MSK to support teamwork and optimal resource utilization, and presentation of results, findings and recommendations to the Director as well as other clinicians and Department leadership. Coordinate projects from the front line and direct appropriate staff. Proactively propose and develop methodologies to fulfill programmatic needs. Work closely with the leadership and PRO team at the Josie Robertson Surgery Center, with faculty in the Department of Surgery, and particularly with PRO support structures within Health Informatics and Information Systems. Work closely with Administrative and Clinical Management staff to plan and implement new program initiatives affecting clinical care and research activity. Identify and perform appropriate analyses of operational and/or financial nature to support assigned projects. Establish systems for the efficient input, throughput, and output of department information. Identify problems, trends, and issues requiring action or further review. Serve as point of contact for communication with institutional leaders, Department Chairmen, Hospital Administration regarding the projects assigned. Acts on inquiries or problems and provides information to departmental and institutional leaders. Initiates and facilitates ongoing correspondence with internal contacts, external agencies, senior management, government agencies. Maintain and enhance professional growth and development, and improve quality improvement initiatives in effort to keep abreast of the latest trends in field. You need: Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of project management related experience is essential. Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or Public Health preferred.
